VELOCITY RX: pitching lessons

MEDICALLY INNOVATIVE PITCHING PROGRAM

image130

A pitching lessons program that increases velocity, command and eliminates Tommy John injuries by restoring the correct neurological sequence  of movements of that the body that has been "coached" out of causing poor mechanics.

WHAT HAS CHANGED? NOTHING!

The baseball world refuses to learn from the obvious.  Just compare Tommy John in 1978 to the above photo.  What has changed?  Nothing about mechanics as you can clearly see, except, these 3 pitchers are 20% bigger than Tommy John.  Bigger, faster, stronger pitchers throwing off poor mechanics is a recipe for injury.  Yet pitchers go down every day with arm injuries that are 100% preventable.

THE DIFFERENCE: G.A.M.E.

We use GAME Testing to evaluate each athlete.  Each athlete is tested, graded, and given a score that is based completely off the correct movement sequence of the body.  During this test we can predict areas of the body that are highly at risk for future injury.

THE DIFFERENCE: PERFECT MOTION

We perform a thorough pitching mechanic evaluation testing and grading: balance, motion, movement sequence, command, and velocity.  This grade and your G.A.M.E. grade are assessed and you are give a report of findings and a specific plan of improvement.

THE DIFFERENCE: CORRECT & TRAIN MOVEMENT

Without precise human movement, athletes will lose performance and eventually get injured.  Movement precision is vital for pitchers.  We take your GAME GRADE and tailor a corrective exercises and drill to address all of your movement dysfunctions that will affect your mechanics.  We then teach you the the secrets of increasing velocity, command, and game management.

THE RESULTS!

The Goal of the Velocity Rx Program is to increase velocity and be able to throw at least 3 pitches for strikes blindfolded.

  • Ben Bills, SAGU: 78 to 92 MPH after UCL Injury
  • Matt Costanza, AIC:   72 to 84 MPH after UCL injury
  • Ken Luongo: Salem St.  78 to 87 MPH after UCL injury
  • Nick Parker: Coastal Carolina, 84 to 89

Just a few results.  Basically Velocity is increased 5  to 10 MPH and accuracy increased by 30%.

But.....

The most important result is the expert arm care and lowering the chance of arm injury.
